The Futur-Wood 78 is our most popular wood Tilt&Turn window profile system.  It is a system with a moderate depth that can handle a wide enough triple-pane glazing unit to make most applications near passive house grade. It comes in three exterior shapes (Classic, Roundline, and Retro), various options for small modification of the profile such as for shorter profile height and sill cutouts, and it can handle up to a 42mm-wide triple-pane glazing unit.  Its 3-layer cross-grain construction ensures rigidity and constancy of shape, while providing a Uf-value of 0.213-0.232, depending on the wood variety used. This means that that it has very good thermal performance characteristics for a reasonable price. The window system is designed for those clients desiring a near passive house grade product but not going to full passive-grade. Exterior cladding on a full wood profile is available in three styles, while there are seven styles for the more popular hybrid wood-AL system.
