HIGH PERFORMANCE WINDOWS + DOORS

To compliment our selection of skylights with their basic internal screen system, we offer an external skylight screen.

The SkyScreen provides a modern variant of external skylight window shading. It protects the attic from overheating during the summer, and prevents heat loss during the winter. It also protects the skylight from damage caused by weather, as well as dampens noise from rain. If privacy is an issue, then this solution provides a sufficient amount of cover.

External screen material are the same as for the classic ZipScreen system:  a PVC-coated polyester, and a PVC-coated fiberglass in three variants: standard, blackout, and metallic. There are 40 colors/patterns available for the screen material.

Control is only manual using clips.

The profile comes in 3 standard colors with more possibilities from the RAL pallet at an extra charge.

Width
minimum:  400 mm
maximum:  1,200 mm
Height:
minimum:  500 mm
maximum:  1,600 mm

The LiteScreen provides a more cost effective alternative to the LuxScreen system for indoor-only application since it forgoes the roll cover. The screen can be stabilized by the guide rails or cables, or even left just free-hanging, though this is not recommended.

Hardware including guide rails, and the lower profile, are made from aluminum.

Internal screen material are the same as for the LuxScreen system:  a 100% fiberglass material, and a PVC-coated polyester variant of the outdoor type. Again, there are 40 colors/patterns available for the screen material.

Control options include manual operation by handle, or a built-in motor drive that can be controlled by switch or remote control.

Profile and guide rails come in 3 standard colors with more possibilities from the RAL pallet at an extra charge.

Width (crank/motor):

minimum:  500/800 mm

maximum:  4,500/4,500 mm

Height (crank/motor):

minimum:  500/500 mm
maximum:  4,000/4,000 mm

The LuxScreen provides a flexible indoor/outdoor solution for roller screens. The screen can be stabilized by the guide rails or cables, with the cables being more suited to indoor use. With this system, light and heat control are still easily achieved.

Hardware including roll cover, guide rails, and lower profile, are made from aluminum.

External screen material choices are the same as for the ZipScreen systerm:  a PVC-coated polyester, and a PVC-coated fiberglass in three variants: standard, blackout, and metallic. In addition, there are two additional screen material choices for indoor use:  a 100% fiberglass material, and a PVC-coated polyester variant of the outdoor type. Again, there are 40 colors/patterns available for the screen material.

Control options include manual operation by handle, or a built-in motor drive that can be controlled by switch or remote control.

The ZipScreen is a unique external screen system with its sophisticated technical design. It is a modern and cost-effective solution to the shading of windows on all types of buildings, while increasing comfort and energy efficiency.

Hardware including roll cover, guide rails, and lower profile, are made from aluminum.

Screen material choices are a PVC-coated polyester, and a PVC-coated fiberglass in three variants: standard, blackout, and metallic. With careful selection, it is possible to ensure maximum protection against light and heat penetration, while providing for the optimal amount of light inside. There are 40 colors/patterns available for the screen material.

The built-in motor drive can be controlled by switch or remote control.

Due to the special stitching of the screen fabric in the side guidance, the ZipScreen basically increases the roller screen’s resistance to wind as a result of the high fabric tension. When in the closed position, it partially functions as an insect screen, and when a blackout type of screen material is used, it ensures effective darkness.

Width
minimum:  800 mm

maximum:  4,500 mm

Height:

The ZipScreen+ provides a more robust alternative to the established ZipScreen system. It can be used to add a modern touch to any residential, commercial, or special-purpose building.

Hardware including roll cover, guide rails, and lower profile, are made from aluminum.

The built-in motor drive can be controlled by switch or remote control.

Thanks to the same special stitching of the screen fabric in the side guidance as found in the ZipScreen system, the ZipScreen+ is equally well suited when it comes to resisting the effects of the environment, insects, and unwanted light.

External screens are a good alternative to external blinds in that they also control light and heat gain well. They have more flexibility in appearance in that different materials can be chosen for the screen to give different visual effects. However, they generally do not have the noise control and security benefits of the external blinds. EuroClime offers fiive models that fits most budgets and needs, with four for windows/doors, and one for skylights. Two are electric controlled, while two have the option for manual or electric control; the skylight model is available only in manual control.
